Art is my refuge.
“I draw to document my experience and leave a record of my time here on this Earth. Creating art with a focus on family, friends, creatives, and fellow humans deepens my appreciation and understanding of how beautiful and precious this life is.
The desired outcome is for the viewer to have a connection to the image, the subject, the feeling of the figure in front of them, and have that spark a realization of shared values, shared emotions, shared memories, and ultimately a shared experience of being human.”
