ART AS MINISTRY
A Portrait Series and Faith Based Mission by Connor Goodman
“Seeing people clearly no matter their appearance, hardships, or struggles. Honoring dignity and following Christ. Using art to help — directly.”
WHAT THIS SERIES IS
Art as Ministy is an ongoing portrait project focused on individuals experiencing hardships: battling addiction, financial insecurity, homelessness, or food insecurity. Each portrait begins with a real conversation and becomes a unique, original work of art created with the same care as traditional fine portraiture.
HOW IT WORKS
Each portrait is:
Hand-drawn
Created on archival 100% cotton watercolor paper
Framed and ready to hang
Completely unique - no prints, no editions, no digital replications
50 % of each sale goes directly back to the individual in the portrait
WHY I’M DOING THIS
This series is grounded in a simple belief:
Every person carries a sacred worth.
Every face deserves to be seen.
Art can restore what the world forgets and damages.
This is not charity at a distance. It is a direct collaboration, recognition, and shared dignity. This is how I am meant to use my God-given gift of art and I am working directly with my brothers and sisters on this Earth, and God.
